The tallest Shiva Mandir of Nepal is 143 foot (Comparable to 15 story building) and lies in Chittapol VDC, Ward Number 5. See a map to get to this location here.

  • This site was inaugurated on 21st June 2010
  • Inauguration was done by Mr. Sarat Singh Bhandari, the then minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation
  • This Lord Shiva statue is said to be the largest Shiva statue of Asia.
  • Initial funding and initiation of this project was done by businessman Mr. Kamal Jain
  • Building Cost was around 1.2 Crore Nepali Rupees (Around 1.3 million US Dollars)
  • Entry fee is 20 Rupees currently per person.
